Neil Huxley‘s multifaceted career has spanned user-interface design, interactive mediaproduction, live-action direction, and motion graphics design for commercials and feature film. A London native, Huxley moved to Australia in 2002 to join Digital Pictures Iloura as a VFX designer before staking a claim in Los Angeles where, as an art director at yU+co, he worked on opening title sequences for director Zack Synder’s Watchmen and art directed over 600 shots for Neveldine/Taylor’s Gamer. In 2009 he joined Prime Focus, where his first assignment was overseeing 200 shots for James Cameron’s Avatar, including the design of stereographics, immersive heads-up display elements and othervisual effects. Shortly afterward, he wrapped Zack Synder’s Sucker Punch, reuniting with the director to create holographic displays and other visual effects for the film, which released on March 25, 2011. Equally adept working in the commercial medium, Huxley has directed design, animation and live-action for clients including Diet Coke, Pepsi, Honda, Spike TV, TNT, FOXTEL, Target, Ask.com, MTV Australia, Universal Pictures, FOX, WarnerBros., DreamWorks SKG, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, Bravo, Ubisoft and Vivendi. In 2010, Huxley joined the ranks of Mothership and Digital Domain as creative director.
